On the occassion of the Inaurugal Ceremony of BABA, the Information and Resource Centre, Singapore and the International Centre Goa celebrated Rabindranath Tagore in Song, Music & Dance. Artists from Shantiniketan and Goa performed at the musical evening. Dr. Swastika Mukhopadhyay, (Sangeet Bhavan, Shantiniketan) presented songs of Tagore while the group of dancers lead by Shri Arup Mitra (Shantiniketan) presented dance on the theme of six seasons titled Ritu Ranga. Shri Manab Das (formerly Shantiniketan and currently teaching at Goa College of Music) presented the fusion of Indian and western music on Sitar accompanied by team lead by Shri Vishnu Shirodkar (Goa).
