Types of Membership
Honorary Members Honorary membership may be conferred by the Committee on persons distinguished in public life or by service to the state or nation or who has contributed significantly to the progress of, and advancement of the objects of, the Society. Honorary members shall not be required to pay any entrance fee or subscription.
Patron Members Patron Members shall be those individuals who, at the invitation of the Board, contribute one (1) lac rupees or more to the Society. In acknowledgement of their contributions to the advancement of the Society the names of Patron Members shall be inscribed in a board to be displayed at a prominent location at the Centre. Patron members do not need to pay any subscription thereafter.

Transfer from Ordinary to Life Member

Life Members Life members shall be those Members who pay INR 20,000/- to the Society, or such other sum as prescribed by the Board from time to time. Life Members thereafter continue to be a member of the Society without payment of annual subscription.
Life (Overseas) Members Overseas members shall be those Individuals who pay INR 80,000/- to the Society as admission fee and a renewal subscription of INR 10,000/- or such other sum as may be prescribed by the Board from time to time.
Ordinary Members Ordinary Membership is available only to Resident Goans. The applicants are required to submit proof of residence for this purpose. The Admission fee of INR 5000/- payable on joining and an annual subscription fee of INR 1000/- per annum.
Ordinary Members are allowed to convert Life Membership by payment of INR 10,000/-.
Existing Ordinary Members who are on the Centre’s Membership Roll as of 1 June 2006, may convert to Life Membership by payment of INR 7,000/-
Institutional Members Institutional members shall be those Members such as corporate organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, business corporations, and associations who may apply to become institutional members on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Board from time to time

The Admission fee is required to be paid along with the submission of the membership application form. If for whatever reason, the application is rejected by the Admission Committee, the fee paid will be refunded. Annual Charges for Institutional and Ordinary Membership are to be paid at the beginning of the financial year commencing 1 April, and not later than 30 June, for the same year. A late payment fee will be charged, if payment is made after 30 June.
Membership Terms The International Centre Goa has Individual and Institutional memberships drawn from all over India and abroad. All foreign nationals are eligible for admission as Overseas Members. Members have to be above 21 years of age.
The fees and subscriptions payable by members in various categories are determined by the Board of Trustees of the International Centre Goa from time to time.
An applicant for individual membership should be duly proposed and seconded by two Individual Members (other than for an Overseas Membership), one of them certifying that the applicant is personally known to him/her and, in his/her opinion, is a person qualified to be admitted as a member of the Centre
Applications will be considered by the Screening Committee appointed by the Board of the Centre. The decision of the Committee is final.
The Board shall have the power to restrict the number of members of any or all classes of membership and may close the membership of the Society whenever the Board shall deem necessary.
Membership Facility to immediate Family Members Member’s spouse and children below 21 years of age are extended membership facility. This facility stops with the end of the membership.
Individual Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable Individual membership of ICG is non-transferable. Individual Members are allotted membership of the Centre on the basis of individual criteria and the membership automatically ends after the demise of the member. Therefore, no provision exists to transfer membership of the late member, even to his/her spouse.
Membership Cards Individual Membership Individual Members are allotted membership cards in their name.
Institutional Membership On approval of membership, the institution will be required to nominate four Individual from their Organization and to submit two sets of photographs and specimen signatures for each of the nominees for membership cards to be issued. The institution may at its discretion ask for fresh cards in the event of any of the nominated employees retiring/ leaving their institution.
The cardholders can use the facilities of the Centre including guest-rooms and conference facilities as regular members at concessional rates. The cards will entitle them to avail of services and facilities at member’s rate. Should any members of the Institution wish to use the facilities of The International Centre, Goa for official work of the Institution, they will also be given concessional member rates, provided they carry an authorization in writing from the Institution to this effect.
The institutions may also recommend other employees or their guests/ clients for stay at the Centre at member rates provided the amount is billed and paid for by the institutional member.
The members are required to return the card to the Centre upon their retirement or resignation from the organization. The Organization is required to nominate fresh members in their place.
Duplicate Membership Cards to Members Members are to inform the Centre in writing of any loss of membership cards. A fee of Rs. 300/- will be applicable for replacement of membership card.
