South Asia Monitor is the quarterly e-newsletter of the South Asia Together Project.
It is a unique, action-oriented newsletter created especially to :
· Disseminate knowledge on the South Asian Region as well as articles, reviews and scholarly comment relating to all facets of Democratization, Peace and Regional Cooperation.
· Create a space for the youth of South Asia to express theirs views and opinions.
· Share the experiences of the Project.
· Highlight future activities of the Project.
· Share information that may be useful for further research and study.

South Asia Together is an initiative of the International Centre, Goa funded by the Ford Foundation and supported by Sir Ratan Tata Trust. The Project aims at bringing together the youth from South Asia over a series of dialogues on Democratisation, Peace and Regional Cooperation in South Asia. It thereby seeks to create a 'Peace Community' of the younger generation, which could lay down the road map for a secure and prosperous South Asia.
It also strives to take a fresh look at past experiences, present predicaments and future possibilities in the region, thereby initiating efforts in creating a peaceful and secure South Asia.
