Director: Dr. Pushkar
Dr Pushkar (PhD Political Science, McGill University) previously taught at BITS Pilani-Goa, McGill University, Concordia University and Goa University. He is the co-author of Democracy, Civil Society and Health in India (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015) and has written journal articles on Chilean politics and health reforms, and on democracy, public goods provision, and health in India. He also writes regularly on India’s higher education and his op-eds and essays have appeared in Asian Scientist, Indian Express, Hindustan Times, The Wire, Braingainmag.com and elsewhere. In 2015, an article in Forbes India listed Pushkar as one of India’s 24 thinkers “who best explain a rapidly-changing India to the world (and the world to India).” Pushkar took charge as Director in December 2016.

General Manager: Khwaja Ayub Zickriya
Mr Zickriya has an MBA in Hotel Management, a ME in Industrial Engineering and a BE in Electrical Engineering. He started his career with Goa Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as Maintenance Engineer. He later worked with Mormugao Port Trust as Electrical Engineer for two years before heading to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as General Maintenance Manager of Royal Commission’s Public Facilities Maintenance Project. He has also worked with Professional Oral Care in India as Operations Manager and Sika India Pvt. Ltd., a Switzerland-based MNC as Senior Works Manager, at its Goa plant in Verna, Goa. He joined ICG as Assistant General Manager in 2007.

Assistant General Manager (Accounts): Pramod Naik
Mr Naik is a graduate in Commerce from Goa University and a Master’s in Advanced Accountancy and Advanced Secretarial Practice. He has also obtained a Diploma in Financial Management and is currently pursuing a MBA in Finance. He pursued a CA Articleship with a chartered accountant and then joined M/s V.M. Salgaocar & Bros Ltd in 1992 as Accounts Officer. He later worked with M/s Alcon Group of Companies as Accounts Manager and Automobile Corporation of Goa Limited (ACGL) as Dy. Manager-Accounts. He joined ICG as Accounts Manager in October 2007.

Front Office Manager: Maryam Sheikh (Hasina)
Ms Maryam Shaikh (Hasina) is a graduate in Commerce, MBA in Marketing Management, and with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Management Training and Research (IMTR), Goa. She started her career with HDFC Bank in 2002 as a Sales-cum-Customer Care Executive and joined ICG in 2003 as the Reservation Executive. During the next few years, Ms Hasina acquired extensive experience in sales and customer care and was promoted as Reservation & Marketing Manager in 2015. Since mid-2017, she is the Front Office Manager and responsible for maintaining a professional work environment, staff supervision and administrative support, guest feedback and other responsibilities as needed.

Marketing Manager: Samila Rao
Ms Samila Rao (Sammie) is a graduate of Sophia College, Mumbai, and then earned a degree in Hotel Management with distinction. Sammie began her hospitality career at the Windsor Manor Sheraton, Bangalore, and later worked at the Taj Blue Diamond in Pune. Subsequently, she acquired over 10 years of professional experience in conventions, sales and marketing across major resorts in California.
