Rajesh Kalra is a veteran media professional and one of India’s early digital pioneers, with over two decades of leadership across print, television, radio, and digital platforms. He is the immediate past Executive Chairman of Asianet News Media &Entertainment and formerly served as Editor-in-Chief of The Times Group’s digital operations.He currently serves on the Board of Asianet News Media Entertainment and is a memberof the Prime Minister’s Olympic Task Force. His work extends beyond media into publicpolicy, sports development, and civic engagement, including his role as a trustee of theRaahgiri Foundation.An endurance cyclist and Fit India Ambassador, Rajesh is known for pushing personal and physical limits—most notably completing a high-altitude cycling expedition to Umling La, theworld’s highest motorable road, at the age of 60.
