Naushad Forbes is the Co-chairman of Forbes Marshall, India’s leading process and energy efficiency firm. Forbes Marshall helps customers build and sustain highly efficient plants by reducing waste, optimising process and energy efficiency, and complying with regulatory requirements. It has consistently ranked as a Great Place to Work, and aspires to be a multinational with Indian roots. Naushad received his bachelors, masters and PhD degrees from Stanford University where he was also an occasional Lecturer and Consulting Professor from 1987 to 2004 and developed courses on Technology in Newly Industrializing Countries. He is Chairman, Ananta Aspen Centre, and Centre for Technology, Innovation and Economic Research (CTIER). Naushad is on the Board of several educational institutions and public companies. He has for long been an active member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was its President in 2016–17. The Struggle and the Promise: Restoring India’s Potential was released by Harper Collins in January 2022.
