Saurabh Mukherjea is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Marcellus Investment Managers. He was educated at the London School of Economics where he earned a BSc in Economics (with First Class Honours) and an MSc in Economics (with distinction in Macro& Microeconomics). In London, Saurabh was the co- founder of Clear Capital. Prior to setting up Marcellus, he was the CEO of Ambit Capital. Saurabh is a Founding Director of the Association of Portfolio Managers in India, a trade body. He continues to be part of multiple SEBI working groups whose role is to review and reform the rules governing portfolio management in India. His previous books include The Unusual Billionaires (Penguin, 2016); Coffee Can Investing: The Low Risk Road to Stupendous Wealth (Penguin, 2018); Diamonds in the Dust: Consistent Compounding for Extraordinary Wealth Creation (Penguin, 2021); and Behold the Leviathan: The Unusual Rise of Modern India (Penguin, 2024).
