Prof. Muchkund Dubey
Prof. Dubey, former Foreign Secretary of India, is a member of the Group of Eminent Persons: South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC), appointed by the Prime Minister of India.
A former Professor in South Asian Studies at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, he is now the President of the Council for Social Development, New Delhi.

Ambassador Eric Gonsalves
Ambassador Gonsalves has been Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. He was India’s former Ambassador to the European Union and Japan. Former Editor-in-Chief of the South Asian Survey, a journal by the Indian Council for South Asian Cooperation, Ambassador Gonsalves is also a Life Trustee of The International Centre, Goa.

 

Dr. V. A. Pai Panandiker
Dr. Pai Panandiker was the Founder President of the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. He is a member of the Group of Eminent Persons: South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC), appointed by the Prime Minister of India.
The Former Chairman of the Population Policy Committee of the Planning Commission of India, Dr. Pai Panandiker is also a Life Trustee of The International Centre, Goa.

M Rajaretnam, Director, International Centre, Goa
Mr Rajaretnam started his career at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore in 1971. In 1985 he founded the Information & Resource Centre, Singapore. Since then he has held various positions including as Executive Director of Singapore Institute of International Affairs, coordinator and Advisor of the Asian Renaissance Project at the Institute for Policy research in Malaysia. He has initiated a number of training programmes and projects such as the 'One Southeast Asia' project, and recently the Asian Dialogue Society which is a fellowship of "citizens and friends of Asia" which is committed to building a better Asia.

Mr. Jayant Chhaya, Immediate Past Director, International Centre, Goa
Mr. Chhaya is the former chief of the Edible Oil Project with the National Dairy Development Board. Mr. Chhaya conceptualized and launched ‘Dhara’, a leading cooking oil brand of India. A Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and Director, Institute of Business Management and Rural Development, Ahmednagar, Mr. Chhaya also worked with the State of Wisconsin, USA, in a senior executive level position in the Health and Employment Department.

Dr. Rahul Tripathi, Project Director
Dr. Tripathi is a Lecturer in International Relations at the Department of Political Science, Goa University. He has a doctorate on ‘Monetary and Payments Cooperation in South Asia – A Case Study of the Asian Clearing Union’ from the South Asian Studies Division at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He did his M. Phil on ‘Comparative Study of Foreign Investments in India and Sri Lanka’ from SIS, JNU. He was a member of the JNU Research Team on ‘Intra-regional Investment Opportunities in SAARC’ which was prepared for the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dr. Tripathi has been a Visiting Faculty to the College of International Relations, Nihon University, Mishima, Japan, where he initiated the Indian Studies Program. He is a recipient of the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for a visit to an Asian country.

Mr. Arjun Halarnkar, Programme Manager, International Centre, Goa
Mr. Halarnkar has a Masters in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, Goa University. He was initially a Research Associate at South Asia Together, International Centre, Goa. He has been associated with local programmes of institutions such as Centre for Studies of Developing Societies, New Delhi and the Tata Energy Research Institute (TERI)-Goa in various capacities.

Mr. Joel D'Silva, Research Associate
Mr. D'Silva has a master's degree in Law from the University of Warwick - UK. He has the experience of working with Amnesty International and South Asia Human Rights Documentation Centre, (SAHRDC), New Delhi. Joel has also received several scholarships to attend programmes at the University of Oxford - UK, University of Leuven - Belgium, Humboldt University - Germany and the University of Pretoria - South Africa.

Ms. Freda B. Coutinho, Executive Assistant
Ms Coutinho has a Masters in Botany from the Department of Botany, Goa University. She was a Project Trainee with the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO). Having a diploma in Information Technology, she has been involved with the organization of numerous workshops and preparation and documentation of several workshop reports. She has also been a keen National Social Service Volunteer in College.

Ms. Nandita Gracias,
Formerly Research Associate at South Asia Together. She has a Masters in International Relations from the Department of International Relations, Goa University. She has worked on ‘India’s Policies towards Refugees: A Case Study of Tibetan Refugees’ as a part of her dissertation. She was part of a three and a half month student exchange programme of Goa University and University of Aveiro, Portugal where she worked on a project on Tourism.
