Dr Pramod V. Pathak has authored books on Indology, Indus Culture and Inter faith studies. He is a free lance journalist contributing regularly to Marathi and English magazines on alternative energy, socio-cultural and strategic studies.
Synopsis:
Scientific knowledge is part of the Supreme existence and manifests in the scientific discoveries and inventions.
Many of the concepts in science are intuitive. The scientific concepts and the spiritual concepts go almost parallel with difference in terminology. There are several such instances in ancient literature which can be explained and deciphered on the background of the modern scientific knowledge. It is also possible to interpret the spirituality of a human being as a mathematical function and his highest attainment of unity with the Supreme as proposed in the Indian tradition. The speaker will explain the difference in the spiritual world view prevailing in the Oriental and Occidental religions.
