The ICG and Asian Dialogue Society organized a two-day conference on HUMAN SECURITY IN NORTH EAST INDIA: ROLE OF INDIA in collaboration with The Centre for Media Research and Development Studies at Hotel New Kenilworth, Kolkata ON 18-19 May, 07. The conference was essentially a Regional Dialogue on Human Security in North East India and it was convened to design and develop a Human Security/ Governance research project that will cover the Northeastern region of India. A book ‘Human Security in North East India: Role of Media’ was also published at the conference.
