The International Centre Goa in association with the Bangali Cultural Association celebrated Rabindranath Tagore’s 147th Birth Anniversary on Thursday, 8 May 2008 at the ICG premises in Dona Paula. Indian classical vocalist Aditi Banerjee (Mumbai) performed on the occassion. Prior to that Former Shantiniketan student Smt. Laxmibai Sardesai was felicitated by the chief guest Prof. R N Mishra who also spoke about Rabindranath Tagore. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Anupam Sarkar, Cultural Secretary of BCA. more>>
