As part of the ICG Lecture Series by Eminent Persons, Ambassador Rakesh Sood delivered a Lecture on ‘Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Policy of India’ on 24th January 2014. Amb. Sood is Special Envoy of the Prime Minister (SEPM) for Disarmament & Non-Proliferation Issues – Prime Minister’s Office and Former Ambassador to Afghanistan, Nepal & France. The Session, held in association with the Goa University, was chaired by Dr. Aparajita Gangopadhayay, Head, Centre for Latin American Studies, Goa University. In the beginning, Ms. Nandini Sahai, Director – ICG welcomed the guests and introduced Amb. Sood. The talk was attended by Hon. Governor of Goa, Shri B V Wanchoo, officers of Indian Navy, Indian Army, faculty and students of Goa University and its affiliated colleges, media and members of civil society.Presentations | Watch Video
