Rasika Khanna from Mumbai performed Bharatnatyam on live music at International Centre, Goa on Friday, 27 April 2007 at its open-air amphitheatre – LARAN. Ms. Khanna was initiated into the art of Bharatanatyam by the legendary Balasaraswathi in Chennai at a very young age. Later she continued her training there under Smt. Lalitha Shastri who performed her Arangetram in 1971 and Shri Adyar Lakshman and Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan as part of her scholarship and dance fellowship respectively. Guru Nana Kasar also taught her for nineteen years.
